Day 1 / Taipei - Hualien

Head down the picturesque east coast of Taiwan, stopping at beautiful beaches and exploring laid back Hualien. Go back in time at a 1943 former military site, now a cultural center offering historical exhibits & events.

Day 2 / Hualien and East Coast

Explore the East Coast's unique topography and local people. Start at natural sea caves used for religious worship, then meet indigenous tribe members who will teach you how to roast organic coffee beans and make salt. Indulge in a Michelin-quality meal that uses all natural ingredients from Hualien. Check traditional salt making with an indigenous tribe member, and enjoy fine dining with a Michelin-trained chef who creates exotic dishes with local, Hualien ingredients.

Day 3 / Hualien and East Coast

Take a scenic hike along the oceanside's waves and enjoy 360 views of the East Coast's coastline. Cyril than the mountains and the sea shore natural conditions, coupled with tribal passion and painstaking hard work, inspired tribal talent for music and art.

Day 4 / Taroko Gorge

Spend a whole day exploring the world’s largest marble cliff and blue, turquoise waters at Taroko Gorge. Your guide can introduce you to hidden caves and waterfalls only locals know!

Day 5 / Taroko Gorge to Taipei

Walk through Taroko Gorge and marvel at the turquoise blue waters that slice through marble cliffs. Your guide will take you to hidden waterfalls and caves within the gorge. Heading back to Northern Taipei, then stopping by an award-winning whiskey before returning.

Cancellation Policy

Tour requires a minimum of 2 guests.
We do our best to accommodate individual travelers by placing them on tours with other guests. In the event an individual traveler cannot be so accommodated, guests will be offered an alternative tour of equal value or full refund.
Guests canceling at any point up to 31 days prior to this tour’s starting date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to departure will receive a 90% refund.
Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to departure will receive a 70% refund;
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to departure are non-refundable.

There will be a 100% charge for no-shows. No-shows are defined as (1) Arriving 15 minutes late for Day Tours; (2) Arriving 1 hour late for Multi-day tours and custom tours.
