Day 1 / Taipei - Sun Moon Lake
Be inspired by a town that has revived its community with its natural resource: bamboo. Dine at the bamboo-themed restaurant and make your own sustainable bamboo toothbrush. Check in at the lake's top 5-star resort and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 2 / Sun Moon Lake
In the morning, take a boat ride or bike around Sun Moon Lake before tourists flock to this place. Take a stroll and enjoy an authentic, indigenous meal along Ita Thao's old street. After lunch, sip fine coffee at a hidden coffee shop high up in the mountains with tall ceilings and breathtaking views of the Nantou hillside. Chill at the Lalu for a quiet night.
Day 3 / Sun Moon Lake-Nantou-Taipei
You can either sleep in, probably take a swim at the infinity pool, or simply take your time enjoying breakfast with Lakeview from the hotel. If you want to go for a walk, Hanbi Trail is right at your doorstep from the hotel. After checking out, go visit a local whiskey distillery and enjoy an amazing whiskey tasting before catching a bullet train back to Taipei.
