Layover tour
I had 14 hours layover in Taoyuan International airport and there's no way I'll sit in the airport for the whole time. I looked up my TA and found them. It was the best decision I've made. The planning and booking was a breeze. Ryan my tour guide that day was knowledgeable and easy going. He let me enjoy most of the sites that I wanted to see, no pressure on time. He even took some photos for me.He brought me back to airport plenty of time for my next journey. Thank you again and looking forward to my customize night Market tour with you guys.

Terrific Company and Tour...if I could, I'd give them a sixth star!
“Terrific Company and Tour...if I could, I'd give them a sixth star!” My friend and I decided to break up the long flight from the US to Indonesia with a one-day stop in Taipei. We wanted to make the most of our short time in Taiwan. I researched several companies, including My Taiwan(MT), to schedule a day tour of Taipei. By far, MT was the most reasonably priced, flexible and accommodating of the five tour companies that I contacted. Julie, the agent responsible for handling my inquiries, was exceedingly efficient and courteous. She responded to all emails promptly and thoroughly. We were very clear on costs, the itinerary and pick up details before we left home. We paid a surcharge of $30 pp for pick up at our airport hotel which was understandable considering the distance between Taoyuan and the sites we visited. We were very fortunate to have Steve Lin assigned as our guide. He arrived at our hotel lobby fifteen minutes prior to our designated meeting time, attired in a MT tee shirt to make it easy for us to spot him. The next eight hours were a joy. Steve was superb as a guide: extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Taiwan, highly considerate of the comfort and enjoyment of his clients, and an excellent, safe driver. Shortly after we joined Steve for our 8-hour tour, we felt like we were in the company of a good friend. We managed to include everything that we really wanted to see, including the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial, Longshan Temple, the National Museum and Taipei 101, and a number of other fascinating places that Steve knew we would enjoy. Throughout the day, Steve alloted reasonable amounts of time at each site and suggestions on alternatives. He was constantly solicitous of our wishes and ensured that we spent our limited time wisely. By the time we returned to our hotel, we felt fortunate to have had such a valuable and unique experience during the 8 hours we spent with Steve. While the price of our tour was not cheap, we felt that the high quality of the tour and the treatment we received from MT's staff during the booking phase made it well worth the money we spent. Sadly, too many travel companies subscribe to the pay more, get less philosophy. That's not the case with MT. They went well beyond our expectations in providing us with a memorable, superb day in Taipei. If I visit Taiwan in the future, I will certainly book my sightseeing tours with MT. Anyone who wishes to experience, once again, what it feels like to be treated like a valued customer, receive excellent service and to pay a reasonable amount for the service received, should book their travel in Taiwan with MT. A long layover in Taipei
I had a long layover in Taipei so booked a tour to see some of the highlights. Steve, my guide, picked me up from the airport promptly and gave me a very fun and informative tour of some of Taipei's main sights. The tour was arranged very last minute. We highly recommend My Taiwan Tours.
We were picked up right at our hotel and had a private tour with our guide. We selected the Layover In Taiwan - Taipei Sightseeing tour. Our guide Jett was amazing. He selected the most important sights to see in our limited timeframe. We saw the National Museum, Taipei 101 (did not go up but stopped for photos and lunch), Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, and the Longshan Temple. We had 8 hours and managed to taken in so much. We could not have done this by ourselves. At first we thought the price was a bit high but then found out the cost covered all admissions to the places an entrance fee was charged. Thus it was a good value. Jett was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time learning about Taiwan. We were dropped off at the airport in plenty of time for our flight home. We highly recommend My Taiwan Tours.

13 hour layover in Taipei
My husband and I were travelling with two small grandchildren and had a 13 hour layover in Taipei prior to long flight home. Rather than sitting in airport all day we wanted to get out and enjoy what we could of Taiwan. My Taiwan Tour could not have been more accommodating of our limited time and odd hours. Kelly and Steve were waiting for us when we got off the plane at 1pm and whisked us away for an amazing 8 hour tour. They were very informative and attentive to our every needs.

Knowledgable, funny, and very friendly
We had Michael as a tour guide and would highly recommend him. He was knowledgable, funny, and very friendly. Our itinerary was quite full and we got to see practically the whole city which was great although I believe the tour is a bit pricey. If its your first time to Taipei/Taiwan and your time is very limited I would recommend this tour company.

Down to earth travel service
I had a short stay over in Taiwan. I didn't know what type of attractions there were in Taipei, so I went on this tour. It gave me glimpses and feel of the city. The Tour guide Helena was very knowledgeable and helpful. They provided lunch and drinks which surprised me and I was appreciative of that. This tour saves a lot of time trying to find the places and reduces time moving from place to place as everything is done by a mini-van (meet a few nice fellow travellers). I can't imagine going bet

Long layover in Taipei
I had a long layover in Taipei on my way home from Australia and wanted to make the most of it. I found that MyTaiwanTour offers a day long itinerary for just such situations. Steve was there to greet me when I exited customs and since it was just me doing the tour he was willing to customize it to my interests and energy level. He was a great guide - knowledgeable, energetic, personable and willing to help me get many photos to document my experiences. Priorities for me were the Longshan Te

Great lay over in Taipei
We had 8 hours a connecting flight via TPE to BKK and it turned out to be the best 8 hours I had throughout the entire journey! I've seen so much and learnt so much about Taipei from this tour within limited time. My guide was amazing and I definitely want to see more of Taiwan! Thank you MyTaiwantour to make it possible!
