Surrounded by lush tea plantations, we enter "Pinglin," a town renowned for its Wenshan Baozhong tea, as well as its clean and protected water. At the Pinglin Tea Museum, under the guidance of a professional tour guide, we learn about the history of tea in Taiwan and Pinglin. Interactive exhibits in the museum offer a deeper understanding of the unique varieties of tea native to Taiwan, as well as how to roast them to achieve different flavors. After leaving the museum, we head to the well-known local tea shop, "Xiang Shun Tea Shop(祥順茶行)," where the owner personally explains the tea roasting process. Through this interactive experience, we learn about the entire tea-making process, from harvesting to drying and finally shaping, allowing us to savor the fresh aroma of tea and taste the owner's homemade brew. For lunch, we dine at the unique cafe "" Liang Yi Ben Pu(良醫本舖)," a cafe that usually invites doctors to provide medical consultations service for local people in Pinglin. Established by a doctor, the cafe's menu is crafted by nutritionists to ensure nourishment and tastefulness. After a restful break here, we set off for Pingxi Old Street to enjoy the ambiance of the old street and write our wishes on sky lanterns to release into the sky. The sky lantern is designed for sustainability once you release the lantern, it will burn to ashes in ten minutes, so the lantern will not drop from the sky as trash. We sincerely invite you to join our sustainable action to enjoy Taiwan and protect the environment at the same time.
