This tour will contribute to the following SDGs:
| Goal 2 | Promoting Sustainable Agriculture to Ensure a Sustainable Food Production System - The unstoppable increase in rice imports from abroad can only be countered by understanding domestic rice production, supporting industry growth, and competing with imported rice. This is vital to maintaining ecological balance and rice self-sufficiency.
| Goal 8 | Promoting Sustainable Tourism to Create Employment Opportunities and Promote Local Culture and Products - This journey allows you to understand how local regeneration deals with the impact of climate regulation, ecological preservation, and the rural landscape. By personally visiting these locations, you'll witness the revival of ecosystems, youth engagement, irrigation, microeconomics, and the unity of tribal communities, as well as the long-lost hometown scenery cherished by the elders.
| Goals 11 & 12 | Promoting Positive Urban-Rural Linkages and the Sustainable Value of Local Culture - Meet the Amis elder, Zhang Wansheng, who devoted his life to local culture and history preservation. To ensure the precious cultural heritage of the tribe is passed down, he generously teaches the art of making rice yeast, which takes on its Amis own unique, aromatic flavor through fermentation, influenced by body temperature, mood, and current humidity levels.
