We will do our best to accommodate individual travelers by placing them on tours with other guests. In the event an individual traveler cannot be so accommodated, guest will be offered an alternative tour of equal value or full refund.
Cancellations are permitted up until 48 hours before departure with a full refund.
Cancellations made 48-24 hours before departure will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable.

A must see lake
When in Taiwan, you must visit Sun Moon Lake. There are so many things to do. We enjoyed the "rope way". You may also walk around the lake or rent bicycles. We watched people fishing. You must also see the butterfly garden.

Hidden Mountains in Taiwan
This is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen. They should call it Hidden Mountains, as the mist is continuously shrouding then revealing the mountains, and you see how many there are and how high up they go. So many shades of green; it's truly stunning. Take advantage of the boats and go out often. The hotels offer $100 tickets (less than £2); $300 from the visitor centre. I would love to go back.

Sun Moon Lake tour
A lovely lake specially when viewed from a top vantage point where many tourist alight for photos. It was cold when we arrived and just looking at the boats and the bluish lake is relaxing and peaceful, perfect for a photo op. There is road for vehicular trip around the lake and a biking/walking path. As you travel by the lake side there is a gondola ride as well as food and souvenir shops.

Sun Moon Lake tour
Sun Moon Lake (or SML as the bloggers call it) is said to be a must-visit in Central Taiwan. I wasn't impressed. All I remember about the visit... 1. Ah Po tea eggs. Buy the original from the third island, climb to the top to make the trip worth it. And if the mainland Chinese go all the way there in DROVES for tea eggs, it's testament to its awesomeness. 2. Rice in chicken wings. They remove the bone, stuff it with rice, other vegetables, and serve it right up. Innovative. 3. Black pork sausage

Nice photographs and sunrise
Generally a good place to visit, but it can be packed with tourists. Do cherish the early morning time around the area, that is when you get the quiet jetty, nice photographs and sunrise!!!!

Come in the autumn
Sun Moon Lake is worth visiting if you're in the area but I wouldn't dedicate days and days to it. If you can, come in the autumn/winter when its not so packed with tourists. There are some lovely driving and cycling roads around the lake and many short, easy hikes. Food and accommodation is comparatively very expensive here and in my experience of a pretty low quality: food-wise stick to street food, accommodation-wise consider camping (there are at least three on the lake). Great tour journey
it's a nice and great tour journey and worth it cause minimal time but get the maximal achievement only one day... the guide was nice and good in comunication. And for me as a student it is a special price.
